Hi, Lueli and Ana Luiza, Camila, Guilherme, Augusto, and Laís.

I enjoyed reading the student writing. I was especially interested in seeing how you used the English verb tenses in personally meaningful ways. Parabéns!

My name is Dennis. I'm an old, old guy, and I love interaction with students. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. and have been living here for more than 18 years. I used to be an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, but I'm no longer teaching. However, I enjoy keeping in touch with international colleagues and friends, and, thanks to the Internet, I'm able to do that whenever I want.

I've been involved in ESL for more than 35 years and have worked with students from at least 50 different countries.

If you want to learn more about Phoenix and Arizona, see these links:

Good luck in your studies!

Before going to Ceub, I studied at Sigma (from the 5th until 3rd year). Next year I will start working in a law office to practice everything I've been learning at university. I love swimming and going to gym! It's my relaxing time! I love going out to restaurants, to the cinema and of course to night clubes (they are my favorites). I really enjoy studying other languages. Right now, I'm doing Advanced grammar to improve my English and I'm, also studying French. Last year I spent one month in France and since that I got really interested in cultural and hystorical stuff. Next semester I plan to do another English course and maybe travel to the US. I will be able to improve my curriculum after going there and doing a one or two months course. I will graduate in 3 years and I expect to be a very good lawyer. I plan to get married and to have children (at least 3). I want to built a beautiful family and give them a happy life like the one I have!
